RV & Roof Leak Repair Butyl Tape adapts high-elastic age-resistance film with high quality butyl sealant, Designed specially for granulated roofs and RV surfaces that require a deeper seal. It features a UV stable backing that is available in white, with excellent aging resistance, high elongation, high stripping, the advantages of fast viscosity. The tape is literally a one-step permanent repair system, to create a waterproof, moisture and air tight barrier. The tape remains flexibly to temperatures as low as -40℃.

 

The tape permanently bonds to a wide range of surfaces, except silicone, including difficult roof materials such as:EPDM, TPO, most PVC, CSPE/Hypalon, CPE, SBS, APP modified, asphalt BURs, coal tar BURs, all metal roofs,tiles, shingle, aluminum, galvanized steel, gypsum board, wood, polyethylene, propylene, polystyrene,fiberglass, brick, concrete, masonry, OSB, etc.

 

1. Clean surface and let dry completely.

2. Remove the clear plastic release paper to reveal the grey sticky side of the tape. Keep the adhesive side of the tape clean and dry.

3. Apply tape to the surface.Apply pressure to activate the bonding process.The firmer the pressure, the quicker the bond.

4. Use a steel roofers roller if needed.
